Week 2 Summary

This has been a long week! After learning from my mistakes of last week, I started the assignments from this week a little earlier. These tasks were a little more fun and creative!

I started the week with reading a post about how to write blog posts. You can check it out here .

I then began doing my daily creates!

The first one was to record me knocking on something. I did something different and knocked on the house phone. I uploaded it through sound cloud and tweeted it!

The next daily create that I did, was to take a picture of something double and put it on twitter. In light of the fall season, I decided to put on some pumpkins!

This is the final Daily Create for the week! I was supposed to draw a very tiny picture and post it to twitter. I decided to draw a dog because I thought it would be easy…..it wasn’t.

I began to explore the assignment bank as well! Originally I thought it would be very boring and time consuming, but I actually enjoyed it! I was able to express my creativeness in whatever way I chose. It’s nice that we only had to pick 3 at whatever level we chose!

White Flag

It was a lot of fun personalizing my blog as well. I was able to make it totally me and not generic to the class. It made me kind of wonder if I’d want to actually have my own blog outside of class! You can view the design of my blog here or even view you as you are reading this.

Class participation is very easy for this class. I was already looking at other classmates blog, so now I just have to record when I do it. It’s nice being able to bounce ideas off of each other. It gives you the idea of being in a classroom setting. Take a look at only a few comments I made throughout the week!

I also had a very difficult time finding and understanding the slack assignment. But after emailing the professor, I realized I was already set up for it and everything! I guess my long week with a lot of homework really messed with my brain! I am in the #photo assignment. I look forward to working with my group!

Week 1 Summary

Well….this week has been quite the week! The start up for this class wasn’t all that bad. It was very simple and easy to create all the different accounts. It did get hard when it came to connecting these to the full D106 class website. I did many look overs to make sure I completed it correctly.

I enjoyed making the blog because we get to express ourselves in it. That gives me the freedom that I enjoy to have for a class. I really liked being able to see what other classmates have said/done for the class (social media posts, etc.)
